You, my child.
A tribute to my vipassana experience which made who I am today and continues to guide my life very deeply. I share with you-
YOU, MY CHILD-
I was once a child afraid of the silence
I was once a child scared of the darkness
I grew into a woman but the silence remained
I grew in age but the darkness remained
Layer after layer turned into a hemisphere
Of doubts and shadows which followed me till here
I tried every door
Feeling tired to my core
I shouted every night
Praying I could see the light.
And then I met THE ONE
The dearest of friends
Who showed me my minds endless trends
I saw the darkness yet I stayed put
I stood my ground and refused to go kaput
In the silence I met the child again
Fear me not she said and you will have a lot to gain
So I shed my years
and allowed all the tears
The child who was robbed of a mother's love
Accepted the pain and herself became free as a dove
She cried that night but not for sorrow
She accepted the light and that forever changed her tomorrow.
