LOVE- is....???

As a child I looked for it shamelessly. Asked for it everywhere. From parents, grandparents, friends, pets, you name it and I asked for it. Yes, shameless little kid!
I bet you did too.
Do you still ask for it that shamelessly though? Or is there a sense of shame now attached to shamelessly asking for love? Have the words needy, clingy or emotional been over used? Perhaps or perhaps not.
You and I and I and you are living on a fuel that is running through our beings. THAT fuel is love. That fuel is what is probably influencing the biggest decisions in our lives. Love for a partner is enough to make you move a city, love for what you do is enough to make you a rebel, love love love.
So what is it that is so potent about love?
Love is what makes life grand! A lot of us live life thinking that we just want simple lives and that would make us happy. Would it really? As humans, we are wired for constant evolution and constant involvement of the brain in something that it finds extremely interesting/engaging. And I think the brain hit a jackpot with this one.
But if we break it down, what is love essentially?
Love is the total undivided attention of one human showered upon the other because of which they feel mutually wanted, heard, appreciated and extremely special.
Bingo! THAT is what you are really attached to. That is what you really always wanted. All of us want some adventure and want a story worth telling. And love gives us that chance. To do things we otherwise might not have the courage to do. Love multiplies courage and courage leads to action and that action leads to some very interesting lives.
It's very simple actually. We all just want to be heard. Want to know that our voice counts. That there is something to look forward to. Love gives us that path. Love gives us that chance.
But beyond all of this, love is VITAL ENERGY. Love is the material from which the greatest of things can manifest. Love is the energy that sees things in the imaginary realm and then with tremendous care, brings it down into creation and turns it into reality. Love is who we essentially are from within. We are this mass of love when we are born but somehow manage to cover that with layers of unnecessary things as we grow up and then some of us are fortunate enough to start the peeling off process all over again and simply come back to a state of love.
All creation comes from a state of love.
On that note, I hope your voice is heard by those who count and most of your actions come from a state of love! The quality of life changes once actions arise from love and not lack.
