Caught in a spiral of unconscious lies
Entangled and wrapped up in unnecessary ties

Rambling through life in a drunken stupor
I thought you were chasing a dream or was that a rumour?

Taking every turn to dodge the dream
Seems like mankind is enjoying this meme

Fertility of the mind at an all time risk
Consciousness laid open for anyone to frisk

Dreamers told not to dream
Fighters told not to fight
Teachers teaching all that is unnecessary
In a system that is redundant and all too scary

Leave the child on his own
And he will come back with marvels richer than gold

Allow the soul to take that leap
Listen to your heart for you know the promises that you must keep

Unhinge, awaken, rise to the call
For you if you ignore it too long, it will be more than just a fall.
